CASE STUDY
Client: Peet’s Coffee & Tea (Brentwood Store)
Issue: Every month Peet’s Coffee & Tea releases a specialty roast that only comes out once a year. Yet, many people were not aware of the unique qualities of The Pick Of The Month (POM) or that there even
was one.
Objective: Bring awareness to the Pick Of The Month specialty roast in order to increase sales.
Solution: Create an apron design for the Sumatra Mutu Batak, which at the time was their POM.
While working at Peet’s Coffee & Tea I’d wear the designed apron to promote the POM.
Results: Customers became curious about the name depicted on the apron and sales began increasing. This apron design tactic propelled the Brentwood store to become the highest sales performer company-wide.
