Client: Peet’s Coffee & Tea
(Brentwood Store)
Event: Peet's Coffee & Tea's
2015 Annual Donations Program
Objective: Select a non-profit organization and collect funds from Peet’s customers.
Event Details: Every year before Christmas, each Peet’s Coffee & Tea location selects a non-profit organization of their choice to collect donations for. For the Annual Peet’s Coffee Donations Event I selected NKLA (No Kill Los Angeles) as the organization that Brentwood Peet’s Coffee & Tea would support.
Marketing & Advertising Details:
Cards placed on hand crafted holders had quotes about dogs and cats written by influential people, which were placed on each table inside Peet’s.
A print advertisement was designed to bring awareness to the Mobile Adoption Event. Mini 5 by 7 signs were placed on Peet’s patio tables and the day before the event the advertisement was placed on pastry bags.
Just Food For Dogs merged with the project. Their jar filled with dog treats were placed in the Peet’s store and an advertisement for the Mobile Adoption Event was placed at the Just Food For Dogs store.
Alongside collecting donations, a Mobile Adoption Event took place outside of Peet’s Coffee & Tea at their patio, which Just Food For Dogs was a part of.
Results: The Peet’s Coffee & Tea Annual Donations Event raised $1,889.20 in total, which includes the company’s adding of $750 to the stores total collection.
